IFAB (International Foundation Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for Human Development, https://www.ifabfoundation.org/it/cose-ifab/) segnala l’evento H3CI Hackaton, un evento per sviluppare idee originali ed efficaci per la divulgazione dello European Extreme Events Climate Index, l’indice europeo che monitora l’occorrenza e la severità dei fenomeni meteorologici estremi. L’hackathon – alla sua prima edizione – nasce per valorizzare lo European Extreme Events Climate Index con l’obiettivo di: E3CI Hackathon si rivolge a studenti e professionisti con competenze specifiche negli ambiti: L’evento si svolgerà in italiano. Hackaton al Festival Agri Risk Management

All’interno del Festival Agri Risk Management a Riva del Garda si terrà, dalle 12 del 17 giugno e per le successive 24 ore, un Hackathon per dare risposte a diverse sfide nel mondo dell’agricoltura. Guidati da specialisti del settore, che avranno il compito di illustrare le sfide, e da mentor che assisteranno all’intero evento, i partecipanti potranno trovare soluzioni innovative in ambito agricolo e non solo. Tre i temi su cui si confronteranno i partecipanti: il ripristino di aree terrazzate agricole attraverso l’impiego di studi sulla vocazionalità delle colture; clima e agricoltura in relazione agli eventi atmosferici estremi, in particolare grandine e gelo, supportati da piattaforma Adalitix e serie di dati storici climatici; Turismo e agricoltura, binomio che, in un ambiente come il Trentino, deve trovare soluzioni. ECMWF organizza un Hackaton event dal titolo: Hackathon 2022: Visualising Meteorological Data in Reading, UK, l’11 e 12 giugno 2022 Per maggiori info: The aim of Hackathon 2022 is to explore how meteorological data, weatherand climate, can be visualised to be more useable, understandable andimpactful for users and the broader public. This is not your usual Hackathon. We are looking for a wide range ofexperience to help with the challenges, ideas and projects. If you are acoder, designer, data wrangler, meteorologist, storyteller,journalist…or just have an interest in meteorological data andvisualisation this is the event for you. We are in the process of establishing challenges which will shape theideas and projects for Hackathon 2022. There will also be an OpenChallenge for those who want to work on something different. A GitHubpage [1] has been set up for the event to facilitate pre-event ideadiscussions and team building. A variety of data and ECMWF experts will be provided throughout theweekend to help with your ideas and develop your projects. The event is the weekend following the Using ECMWF Forecasts (UEF2022)[2] event on the same theme and those attending this event areencouraged to join in with Hackathon 2022.
