The International Forum of Meteorological Societies had a meeting of our IFMS Council to discuss and plan for the Inauguration of the African Meteorological Society which IFMS assisted in creating.

Next year IFMS will recommend and assist the National Meteorological Societies of Asia and ASEAN countries to create Asian Meteorological Society. Asia has the highest GDP of any continent.

Attached are the three documents related to our Council Meeting held on
November 4, 2022 for planning the Inauguration of AfMS and our half a
day Meeting. The fourth document is on donating to IFMS and the fifth,
the invitation to participate in the Inauguration and register for it.
